Principal Deputy Coordinator for Counterterrorism visits Cyprus

Principal Deputy Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the U.S. State Department Alina Romanowski had several meetings today with Republic of Cyprus officials.  The purpose of her trip was to enhance cooperation between the United States and Cyprus in the fields of combatting terrorism and promoting regional stability within the framework of the Statement of Intent, signed by the United States and the Republic of Cyprus last November.  The United States once again affirms its commitment to promoting peace, stability, security and prosperity in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
