Visiting the Embassy
Please note that all scheduled visa applicants must wear a face covering upon arrival and follow health guidelines to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. In order to maintain social distancing, no family members will be allowed to accompany student visa applicants either for interviews or to wait outside the embassy. Visa applicants from any country are welcome to apply at any U.S. Embassy or Consulate accepting visa appointments but travel arrangements to the interview are the responsibility of the applicant. All travelers coming to the Republic of Cyprus are subject to current ROC regulations to mitigate spread of COVID-19, including possible self-isolation upon arrival. Applicants who are required to self-isolate for 14 days must not come to the Embassy before their isolation period has officially ended. Information is available at the Ministry of Tourism website. Applicants may apply or adjust their current appointments at the Global Support Services (GSS) Website or via the call center. Please monitor our website and social media for further updates.
Please make sure to obtain an appointment before you come to the Consular Section. Those who do not have appointments will not be permitted into the Embassy. Appointments for nonimmigrant visa applications may be obtained online from www.usvisa-info.com or by contacting GSS through telephone by dialing (+357) 22-232-082.
